Who is this course for?
This course is for certified AIDA 3 (or equivalent) freedivers who are ready to explore greater depths and improve performance through advanced training in technique, physiology, and safety.
What You’ll Learn:
Advanced Equalization Techniques
Learn the Mouthfill technique for deep diving and refine your Frenzel method to increase depth with control and comfort.
Advanced Safety & Rescue Procedures
Train to rescue a freediver from 15 meters, manage deep water blackouts, and become a safer, more confident buddy.
Deep Diving Physiology
Understand the effects of pressure, narcosis, and barotrauma, and how to safely train and progress deeper.
Training Concepts and Planning
Develop structured training plans, understand adaptation principles, and learn how to prepare your body and mind for performance and safety.
Mental Strategies and Relaxation Techniques
Use advanced breathing, visualization, and relaxation techniques to extend your limits while staying calm and focused.
Performance Requirements:
To complete the course, students must achieve the following (or higher):
Depth: 32–38 meters (CWT or FIM)
Static Apnea: 3 minutes 30 seconds
Dynamic Apnea: 70 meters
Rescue: From 15 meters depth
Prerequisites:
Minimum age: 18 years
AIDA 3 certification (or equivalent from other recognized agency)
Completed medical form signed by a doctor (if required)
Course Duration:
Typically completed over 4–5 days, depending on conditions and student progress. Includes theory sessions, confined water practice, and open water dives.
